Growing up means having the ability to grow up and fulfil your dreams. It does not mean giving up on your dreams and compromising your future. You cannot be a real adult unless you have the power to decide your own future. Just like a child, you are only dependent on someone else and being swept away. Get the power to choose your destiny.
大人になるということは、成長して夢を叶える力を持つということだ。夢を諦めて未来を妥協することではない。自分の未来を自分で決める力を手に入れなければ、本当の大人にはなれない。子供と同じように誰かに依存して流されているにすぎない。運命を選び取る力を手に入れよう。

If you could work from anywhere, where would you go? The digital nomad life is more accessible and common than ever before. But of course, becoming a digital nomad isn’t without its challenges and risks.
どこにいても仕事ができるとしたら、あなたはどこに行きますか？デジタルノマドは、以前にも増して身近で一般的なものになりました。しかし、デジタルノマドになるには、もちろんチャレンジやリスクがつきものです。

Here’s how to take the leap.

• Choose the right destination. This is somewhere you’ll be safe, legally allowed to work, and of course, somewhere you actually want to be. Do your research to evaluate the potential safety risks of a prospective location, as well as the passport limitations, visas, health insurance, taxes, and any other legal requirements you may face.

•Get your boss on board. Make the case for why remote work is feasible for your role. Carefully prepare your argument and a detailed plan, then ask for a face-to-face meeting to share it with your boss and any other relevant colleagues. Cite industry norms, including whether competitor organizations offer remote work options, and have examples on hand. Come prepared with a plan for your theoretical work schedule.

•Think hard about the details. Ask yourself: What will my day-to-day workspace actually look like? How will I ensure consistent internet access? And how will I set up my banking and health care in a potentially foreign place?

•Find your community. The nomad life can be lonely, so reflect on the kinds of communities you value most and identify opportunities to connect with people in whatever way will feel meaningful to you.
- 正しい目的地を選ぶ。安全で、合法的に仕事ができる場所、そしてもちろん、実際に行ってみたい場所です。渡航先の安全性、パスポートの制限、ビザ、健康保険、税金、その他の法的要件について、よく調べてください。
- 上司を説得する。自分の職務にリモートワークが適している理由を説明する。自分の主張と詳細な計画を入念に準備し、上司や関連する同僚と直接会ってそれを共有するよう依頼します。競合他社がリモートワークのオプションを提供しているかなど、業界の規範を引用し、手元に例を用意しておく。理論的なワークスケジュールの計画を用意する。
- 詳細については、よく考えてください。自問自答してください。日々のワークスペースはどのようなものか？インターネットへのアクセスはどのように確保するのか？また、異国の地での銀行や健康管理はどうするのか？
- コミュニティを見つける ノマド生活は孤独なものです。自分が最も大切にしているのはどのようなコミュニティなのかを考え、自分にとって有意義だと感じられる方法で人々とつながる機会を探しましょう。
